Mary Oline Heath, 92, of Greenville died May 2, 2007, in Commerce.

She was born May 7, 1914, in Milton, N.D.

She played the organ in the Methodist Church in Lansford, N.D., for 40 years and was a Sunday school superintendent for 10 years.

Mrs. Heath was a school teacher, librarian, home economics teacher, and farm wife in North Dakota for 35 years and lived in Mesa, Ariz., for 27 years. She organized a creative writing group for senior citizens and volunteered for the Mental Health Association for her son Nick in Mesa, Ariz.

Mrs. Heath lived in Harrison House in assisted living for three and a half years. She was a voracious reader and worker of crossword puzzles.

Survivors are her sons, Nick Heath of Greenville, John Heath and wife Marilyn of Commerce, and Brian C. Heath and wife Sylvia of Blaine, Minn.; a daughter, Merry Estrem and husband David of Sequim, Wash.; grandchildren Susan Johnson of Seattle, Wash., Sarah Kankelberg of Vancouver, Wash., Tom Estrem of Seattle, Wash., Erin Sperling of White Bear Lake, Minn., John B. Heath of Lufkin, and Collin Heath and Alex Heath of Commerce; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by he husband of 46 years, Leslie Heath.

A memorial service is scheduled at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the First United Methodist Church chapel in Commerce.

Lynch Funeral Service of Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
