Bess Girdner McGuire
Bess Girdner McGuire, 78, was born on December 29, 1887, in Texas, the daughter of D. R. Girdner and Lizzie Swann Girdner. She died on May 5, 1966, in Greenville, Hunt County, Texas, at Park Haven Nursing Home, where she had been a resident of five months. Her usual residence was Celeste, Texas. Cause of death was a hemorrhage from the nose for two to three hours, trauma to head and nose for two to three hours, chronic blood loss from hemorrhage after dental protractions for a month, chronic anemia (possible blood-clotting disorder). Burial was made in Lane Cemetery, near Celeste, Texas, on May 7, 1966. Dick McGuire, son, was the informant.
