Miranda Crabb McGuire
Miranda Crabb McGuire, 80, was born on August 8, 1863, in Mississippi. Her father was B. P. (Benjamin Payne) Crabb from Mississippi. Mrs. Hesa Bickham, Celeste, the informant, did not know Miranda's mother's information. (Other records show her mother as Elizabeth Jane Presley from South Carolina). Widowed, Miranda had lived in Celeste, Hunt County, for sixty years upon her death on June 23, 1944. Dr. J. C. Trentham was her doctor. Burial was made on June 25, 1944, at Forest Park Cemetery, Greenville, Texas.
