GARLAND — Mildred Ellen Farmer, 87, of Garland, died Dec. 15, 2006, in Farmersville. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. today at Rentfrow Funeral Home chapel in Caddo Mills with Rev. Dickson Rial and Rev. Jay Kennedy officiating. Burial follows in the Caddo Mills I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Born in Hunt County on Dec. 11, 1919, she was the daughter of J. C. Wygal and Jose Patterson Wygal. On March 13, 1941, she married Claud Farmer in Cash. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Leon Farmer of Rowlett; a daughter, Claudette Mikeska of Rowlett; sisters Ruenell Gandy of White Settlement and Winnie Mae King of Caddo Mills; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, Edward and Paul Wygal; and one sister, Dee McKenzie.
