Miss Tom Roach
Miss Tom Roach, twenty-one-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. I. Roach, formerly of Celeste, died at Fort Worth on Saturday, (December 11, 1926) of typhoid fever and the body buried at Celeste (Lane Cemetery) on Sunday, funeral being conducted from the Methodist Church.
Deceased was formerly a student of Wesley College, in this city, and had many friends here as well as at Celeste who grieve the death of this lovable young Christian woman.
She is survived by parents, three brothers (Rollin Wilson, Walter Pierce, and Phillip Edwin Roach), and two sisters (Mary Lane and Ella Ruth Roach). (December 16, 1926, The Greenville Messenger)
