M. K. Harrell
Celeste, Texas, January 2, 1915--M. K. Harrell of Celeste died at a sanitarium in McKinney on January 1, 1915. He had been under treatment for several months. He was fifty-seven years old. He was reared in Hunt County and was one of its leading businessmen, being President of the First National Bank of Celeste since its organization and a large landowner.
Mr. Harrell is survived by his widow and three sons, two of whom are small. Morris B. Harrell, a prominent young lawyer of Greenville and junior partner of the law firm of Crosby, Hamilton and Harrell, is a son. Mr. Harrell was a Mason and Knight of Pythias.
Funeral Services will be held in Celeste at the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, on Sunday afternoon, after which the body will be taken to Greenville for burial. (January 3, 1915, The Dallas Morning News) Submitted by Sarah Swindell
