Mrs. Joe Green Died Last Saturday

Mrs. Green, widow of the late Joe Green, who died
in 1927, died at her home 1723 Sayle Street, Greenville, last Saturday.
Mrs. Green was sixty-three years old, was born and
reared at Kingston, and had lived on the farm in that section until 1917
when the family moved to Greenville.
She was a devout Christian woman, member of the
Wesley Methodist Church, and active in Sunday School and other church work.
She had never been reconciled to the death of her
husband in 1927 and her health had not been good since and to her death
came as a sweet relief.
Funeral conducted by her pastor, Rev. M. L. Hamilton
from Wesley Church Sunday afternoon and her body buried beside her late
husband in East Mount Cemetery.
She is survived by two children: Lloyd Green
of Dallas and Mrs. Homer Titus of Los Angeles, California.
Two children preceded her in death, Herbert R. Green
and Mrs. Ruth Sanders.
