Mrs. Willie Price Baker
On Tuesday at 11:30 AM, the death angel visited the home of A. L. Baker, taking therefrom the young wife and mother, Mrs. Willie Baker.
Mrs. Baker was a consistent Christian, having professed faith in Christ and joined the Baptist Church at an early age. She had been married two years, and before her marriage was Miss Willie Price of Wood County.
The funeral was from the residence on Tuesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Lee Sanders, with burial at McWright Cemetery.
Deceased leaves a husband and a baby boy to mourn her loss, who have the sympathy of a host of friends and neighbors in this sad hour of affliction. (The Celeste Courier, August 16, 1907, The Greenville Messenger) Submitted by Sarah Swindell
