Myrtle Arnold
Greenville Herald-Banner – February 14, 1984 -- Myrtle Arnold, 90 of 3500 Park died Monday at 9 a.m. in Citizens General Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sorrells-Peters Chapel with Rev. Billy White officiating. Burial will be in Sullivan Cemetery.
She was born Nov. 8, 1893 in Hunt County to William and Sadie Smith Hatchett. She was married to Jessie Arnold June 2, 1912. Mrs. Arnold was a Baptist.
Surviving are daughters, Bessie Greer of Greenville and Edna Williams of Dallas; sisters Nannie Isham and Euva Lena McNeely, both of Greenville; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Her husband preceded her in death in 1982.
Pallbearers will be Don Hodgson, Randy Shipp, John Shipp, Lee McNeely, Elmer McNeely and Dub Jernigan.
