Myrtle Hall Stapleton
Myrtle Hall Stapleton died on Friday, November 25, 1988, at her home. Services were on Sunday, November 27, 1988, at 2:30 PM at the First Baptist Church of Celeste. Burial was in East Mount Cemetery in Greenville.
Mrs. Stapleton was born on January 1, 1907, in Hunt County to George C. Hall and Martha Baker Hall. A Celeste High School graduate, she was married to Calvin Stapleton on December 3, 1927, in Fort Worth. She was a retired clerk for the US Postal Service in Celeste and a devoted member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of Celeste and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother.
Coker-Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
