J. M. Nichols
Funeral rites for J. M. Nichols, 81, of Leonard community who died at 3:00 PM, Friday, June 20, 1952, were held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 1, 1952, at the Lane Methodist Church.
Burials was in the Pike Cemetery with the Wilson Funeral Home of Leonard in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Nichols was born in Franklin County, Arkansas, on November 20, 1870, and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Nichols. He was a member of the Lane Methodist Church. In 1893, he was married to Nancy Rachael Hazal.
Surviving are two sons, G. A. Nichols and O. L. Nichols of Celeste and a daughter, Mrs. Kirk Pearce of Greenville; several grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
