Mrs. J. E. Nix
Mrs. J. E. Nix, 73, died suddenly at her home in Celeste on Thursday afternoon. She had been a Hunt County resident for over fifty years.
Mrs. Nix, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Rambo was born in Tennessee on February 17, 1881. She was married to J. E. Nix at Lane on August 13, 1899.
Deceased was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Nix is survived by four sons and four daughters: Howard Nix of Celeste, Horace Nix of Lone Star, E. G. Nix of Sweetwater, Norris Nix of Campbell, Mrs. Cloy Doyle and Mrs. Myrtle Ray of Greenville, Mrs. J. R. Bloodworth of Dallas, and Mrs. Lucille Thompson of New Boston. Also surviving are six (five?) sisters. They are Mrs. Cleve Parker and Mrs. Tom Mobley of McKinney, Mrs. Sally Carter of Dallas, Mrs. Tom Rambo of Tennessee, and Mrs. Guy Trotter of Greenville.
