Oma Elizabeth Gibson Leinart, 94, of Wagner, Texas, died at 2:25 a.m. on Dec. 9 at Briarcliff Health Center. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Monday at Coker-Mathews Chapel with Rev. Heath Bradley officiating. Burial is at Memoryland Memorial Park.
Born June 22, 1912, in Hunt County, she was the daughter of Jess and Bessie Gibson. She married Jack Leinart on Oct. 16, 1937, in Merit, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of First Methodist Church Merit.
She is survived by her husband Jack Leinart of Wagner; son and wife Jerry and Bobbie Leinart of Wagner; son and wife Jacky and Susan Leinart of Wagner; sister Catherine Sumrow of Garland; grandchildren Brannon Leinart, Shannon Leinart Bastedo and Blake Leinart; and great-grandchildren Grace Leinart, Drew Leinart and Gwen Leinart.
She was preceded in death by her father Jess Gibson, mother Bessie Gibson and brother Cloyd Gibson.
Pallbearers are Jason Hammack, Al Shipp, George Chamberlin, Jack Hurst, Chris Hurst and Danny Leinart.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
