Mrs. Pearl Lizzie McCarty Noel
Mrs. Pearl Lizzie McCarty Noel, twenty-five years old, died Monday morning at 12:20 AM at her home, 310 West Day Street, Denison, Texas, following a week's illness. She had made her home in Denison for eighteen years.
Mrs. Noel was born at Bonham, Texas, on May 11, 1907, and was married to Frank Noel in Denison on November 20, 1927. She was a member of the Nazarene Church.
Surviving are her husband, Frank Noel; one son, James Noel, Denison; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom McCarty, Celeste; four brothers, Jesse McCarty, San Antonio, Floyd McCarty and George McCarty, Celeste and Archie McCarty, Atlanta, Georgia.; and four sisters, Thelma McCarty, Bessie McCarty, Ruth McCarty, and Mrs. Bertha Swindle, Celeste.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 4:00 PM at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Will Overturf, 930 West Owings Street, Denison, with the Rev. G. P. Webb of the Nazarene Church as the officiant.
Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Denison with Short-Murray funeral directors in charge.
