Funeral services for Pearson Carter (Dick) Reynolds were conducted Sunday, September 18, 1960, at 3:00 PM at the Celeste Baptist Church with the Rev. H. B. Gideon, pastor, officiating.
Interment followed in Leonard Cemetery with the Wilson Funeral Home of Leonard in charge of arrangements.
A songwriter, Mr. Reynolds was associated with Broadcast Music Incorporated.
Born on August 6, 1916, he was the son of Vernon C. Reynolds and Maudie Carter Reynolds. His father preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Maudie Reynolds, Lane community; two brothers, T. C. Reynolds of Grand Prairie and Major G. H. Reynolds of Fort Hood; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Dean of Grand Saline and Mrs. W. B. Cox of Bryan, Texas.
