Dr. Preston S. Pearson, 89, died on July 25, 1948 in Greenville Hunt County Texas on 2004 Sayle Street, where he had been for ten days. He lived at 2218 Beecha (sic) Street, Greenville, Texas. He was married and a physician. Born on October 12, 1858 in Georgia, his father was Captain Stephen S. Pearson of Georgia. His mother was Susan J. Shields Pearson of Georgia. Mrs. Sallie Spoonemore of 2004 Sayle Street, Greenville, Texas, was the informant. Acute myocardial infarction and hypertension were the causes of death. Burial was made in Emory Cemetery, Rains County, Texas on July 28, 1948 with Gray-Ballard-Sorrells Funeral Home in charge. (30994)
