Ridley Mitchell Trail
McKINNEY — Mr. Ridley Mitchell Trail, 90, of Celeste died May 29, 2006, in Greenville.
He was born April 20, 1916, in Peach Grove, Tennessee, to Eston Trail and Dora Jacobs Trail. He was married to Dorothy M. Stinson on June 24, 1939, in Plano and Leta Compton Sloan on December 1, 1982 in Greenville.
Mr. Trail was a farmer, carpenter, and a member and deacon at First Baptist Church of Celeste and First Baptist Church of Ben Franklin.
He is survived by his brother, Tony Trail of Peach Grove, Tennessee; a sister, Estella Bush of Manchester, Tennessee; a stepson, James Sloan and wife Shirley Sloan of Greenville; grandson the Rev. Brad Sloan of McKinney; and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Trail was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Stinson Trail; second wife, Leta Trail; and ten brothers and sisters.
Funeral services are at 10:00 AM, Thursday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Dr. James Ralson and the Rev. Brad Sloan officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park.
