Roberta G. Duffy, 93, of Alexandria, La., was born Jan. 31, 1913, in Elizabeth, La., and was called home to be with the Lord on June 1, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Emmit Duffy; her father, Louis Golbert; her mother, Cora Goodson; and a daughter, Patricia Ray. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ron and Suellen Meilleur of Pineville, La.; grandchildren Greg and Linda Ray of Blanchard, Okla., and Ryon and Melanie Gilliam of Greenville; her five beloved great-grandchildren, Cole and Austin Gilliam and Zachary, Alexandra and Jacquelyn Ray. Roberta served as a nurse in Louisiana for many years and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Visitation will be from 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Saturday at Peters Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 2 p.m. at Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville.
