WOLFE CITY -- Robert Lee Airheart, 79, of Terrell died April 26, 2007, at Presbyterian Hospital of Kaufman. A graveside service is scheduled at 2 p.m. today at Mount Carmel Cemetery under the direction of R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home of Wolfe City.
Born Jan. 17, 1928, in Kemp, he was the son of Walter Bryant and Grace Teafatiller Airheart. He married Tommie Jo Hargrove on Sept. 25, 1950, in Kaufman. Mr. Airheart served in the U.S. Army and retired from Vista Wall Manufacturing. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife of Terrell; two sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Debra Airheart of Kemp and Gary and Sue Airheart of Canadian, Okla.; a daughter, Sherry Caughon of Terrell; five granddaughters, Brandy Airheart, Chem Hollond, Amy Airheart, Laura Hill and Jennifer Caughon; one grandson, Robert Caughon; two great-grandchildren, Brandon Krieger and Jaxson Jones; sister Gayle Antrobus; and one brother, Walter Airheart Jr.
His parents, two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
