Roy M Roberts was born on September 26, 1887 in Greenville, the son of J. C. Roberts and Annie Jinks Brumley Roberts. He moved to Wolfe City when he was very small and has resided in the house his family built.

He and his twin brother, Ray, were contractors and did most of the work together. These twin brothers are well known in this section and have many friends.

Roy Roberts was a quite fellow and always had a way of reasoning things out for the best. He saw good in everybody and had a good word for all he met.

He lived a full life and often spoke of the joy and pleasure he had in having Katherine McCarroll Felty in the home. Katherine was reared in the Roberts home where her mother, Mrs. Dottie McCarroll was a nurse for Mr and Mrs J. C. Roberts.

He was a veteran of World War I and spent several months overseas.

Surviving are his twin brother, Ray, and Mrs Katherine Felty and Mrs Dottie McCarroll.
