Rubye Beatrice Rogers, 84, of Greenville died Thursday, March 22, 2007, at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
Visitation is from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Graveside services are at 10 a.m. Monday at Memoryland Memorial Park with the Rev. Paul Gould officiating.
Mrs. Rogers was born April 5, 1922 to Jim and Ada White Powell. She married O.B. Rogers Nov. 21, 1943 in Rockwall.
Mrs. Rogers was a secretary and hairdresser and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her nieces Ruth Fant of Huntsville, Barbara Decker Harvey of San Antonio, Patricia Powell of Prescott, Ariz., Midge Nichols of Salma, Kan.; nephew Dr. J.E. Fant of Lancaster, Calif.; and great-niece Rene’ Jackson of Huntsville.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
