Sampson Ely Hudson
March 27, 1954 -- Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Sullivan Cemetery in Campbell, Hunt County, for Sampson Ely Hudson, 78, who died Saturday at his residence, 3504 Strong.
Hudson was a retired farmer and moved here two years ago from Chillicothe.
Survivors include four sons, John Hudson of Granbury, Allen Hudson of Alaska, Aaron Hudson of Wichita Fallas and Frank Hudson of Sulphur Springs; eight daughters, Mrs. Emma Grant, Mrs.Bessie Clearley, Mrs. Ethel Dunning, Mrs. Flora Monroe and Miss Elda Hudson of Forth Worth and Mrs. Myrtie Isham of Campbell, Mrs. Elizabeth Tyler of Estelline and Mrs. Maggie Matlock of Silverton, a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Meissner's will handle arrangements.
