S.A. TIPPS DIES AT CAMPBELL HOME
Funeral rites were observed at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the First Methodist Church in Campbell for S.A. Tipps, a well known citizen of the Campbell community who died at her home at 10 o'clock Tuesday night. Services were conducted by Rev. Sooter and Rev. Robert Ridley. Paulbearers were R.E. Hale, R. L. Bridges, H.M. Bridges, J.L. Bridges, J.B. Craig and Doris Petit. Mrs. Tipps, a native of Oscola Tennessee, had been a resident of the Campbell community for many years and was one of its best known and most popular citizens. She had many friends throughout this area and was held in high esteem by all who knew her.
(additional note .... S.A. stands for Sophrona Ann and she is buried in Brigham cemetery).
