CADDO MILLS — Selma Nay Chapman, 97, of Caddo Mills died Jan. 25, 2007, in Greenville. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Monday at Paradise Baptist Church in the Paradise Community. Burial is in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Caddo Mills.
Visitation is from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Rentfrow Funeral Home of Caddo Mills.
The daughter of Edgar and Hattie DeWoody Thomason, she was born Nov. 8, 1909, in Clark County, Ark. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors are a son, Wayne Chapman of Caddo Mills; daughters Bonnie Chovanetz of Burleson, Ruth and Randolph Hilliard of Maypearl, Annette and Willette Rosson of Crockett, June and DeVerle Mercer of Duncanville, Margee and Don Christopher of Caddo Mills and Linda and Mike Kizer of Greenville; 18 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, one granddaughter, one grandson, three brothers and a twin sister.
Grandsons are pallbearers.
