Ray W. Shaw
Ray W. Shaw, 90, of Cooper died April 24, 2008, in Greenville. He was born March 18, 1918, in Blackwell, Okla. Mr. Shaw was a retired machinist, and also route salesman selling water shut-off keys. He was of the Baptist faith, and he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He is survived by a brother-in-law, Melvin A. Schroth of Campbell; a nephew and niece Kenneth and Deborah Howton of Greenville; great-nephew and niece Chris and Melissa Bryant of Campbell; a great-nephew, Kevin Howton of Greenville, great-great-niece Morgan Bryant; and great-great-nephews Trevor Hunter, Jarrett Bryant and Seth Bryant, all of Campbell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ona Mae Shaw. Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Abby Chapel located at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas with Randy Rather officiating. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville.
