Stella Mae Williams, 98, of Greenville died July 25, 2006, at a local nursing home. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. today at Westview Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Bosworth officiating. Burial follows at Simmons Cemetery. Peters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Born Nov. 17, 1907, in Hunt County, she was the daughter of Fred A. and Jimmie M. Lewis Wilson. She married Eldredge Mashburn in Greenville and he preceded her in death in 1976. In 1978, she married J. B. Williams and he passed away in 1985.
Mrs. Williams worked as a nursing aide at Baylor Hospital. She was a member of Westview Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Martha Mason of Greenville; a son, Jerry Williams and wife Diana of Garland; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and nieces, and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kenneth Lawayne Mashburn in 1943; five brothers; and four sisters.
