Sybil Lamm, 84, of Greenville died the morning of June, 20, 2006, at Park Haven Nursing Center. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Friday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Ronnie Hickey officiating. Burial is at Money Cemetery. The daughter of H.L. and Clara Carter Sprinkle, she was born Oct. 15, 1921, in Hunt County. On April 18, 1939, she was married to William D. Lamm Jr. in Greenville. Mrs. Lamm was a homemaker. She was a Methodist. Surviving are sons James Lamm of Sherman, Mark Lamm of Celeste and David Lamm and Jerry Lamm of Greenville; daughters Diane Dixon of Yantis, Carol Craver of Greenville and Kathy Dial of Annona; two brothers, Dale Sprinkle of Lizella, Ga., and Doyle Sprinkle of Rockport; two sisters, Jean Gillentine of Randolph and Wilnetha Green of Tyler; a stepsister, Louise Reagan of Caddo Mills; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2000; two sons, Mike Lamm and Dennis Lamm; a daughter, Amy Sue Lamm; and sister Nell Briley. Grandsons and close friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Friends will gather at the home of Carol Craver.
