CUMBY — Funeral services for Tommy A. Massey, 48, of Cumby will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Maynard officiating. Interment will follow at Cumby Cemetery with Donie Massey, Lonnie Massey, Ronnie Massey, William Massey, Robert Massey, James Massey and Anthony Bingham serving as pallbearers. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Cumby Funeral Home.
Tommy A. Massey died the afternoon of Dec. 4, 2006, at his residence. He was born in Clovis, N.M., on Aug. 15, 1958, the son of James and Norene Woody Massey. He married Cindy Rae Morrison in Farmersville on Nov. 18, 1996; she survives. Mr. Massey was a retired mechanic and a member of the Pentecostal faith.
Other survivors include a daughter, Angela Massey of Paris; three sons, Kenny Fronterhouse of Princeton and Danny Fronterhouse and William Fronterhouse, both of Cumby; six sisters, Linda Milow of New Hope, Barbara Ann Edwards and Mildred Snodgrass of Chattanooga, Tenn., Brenda White of Princeton, and Linda Massey and Mary Kidwell of Melissa; seven brothers, Johnny Massey of Farmersville, James Massey of Cumby, Donny Massey of Brashear, Ronny Massey of Bonham, Charles Massey of Princeton, Raymond Massey of Trenton and Michael Massey of New Hope; grandchildren Kaden Fronterhouse, Braden Fronterhouse, Makaylee Fronterhouse and Madyson Sterling.
He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas James Massey.
