Dr. Thomas Spaulding Williams
Dr. Thomas Spaulding Williams, 55, 218 Beckley Wood Boulevard, Dallas, brother of Mrs. E. T. Fry of Reavilon of this city, died at the Methodist Hospital in Dallas at 5:50 PM, Thursday, July 18, 1946.
Funeral services will be held at the Crane-Shelton-Langley Funeral Home, 4709 Ross Avenue, Dallas, at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 20, 1946, to be conducted by Episcopal Bishop Harry T. Moore. Interment will be at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas with the Rev. Father Francis I. Becker, pastor of Saint James Catholic Church, officiating at the grave.
Dr. Williams had been a resident of Dallas for thirty-eight years and had been practicing medicine in that city for thirty-three years. He was a graduate of SMU and Baylor Medical College, Dallas, and for thirty-two years had been a member of the staff at Saint Paul Hospital in Dallas and also on the staff of the Methodist Hospital. He was a member of the Dallas County Medical Society and the City of Dallas Health Board. During World War I, he was attached to the British and Scotch Highlanders.
Surviving are his widow; one sister, Mrs. E. T. Fry of Reavilon, Greenville; two nephews, Douglas Morrell of Dallas and Teddy Fry, Jr., of Victoria; and two nieces, Mrs. Florence Kirby of Dallas and Mrs. Dorothy Hemsell Fry, Greenville.
