Tommy Lewis “Wishbone” Anderson, 51, of Greenville, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Paul Baptist Church in Neylandville with Rev. Vernon Mint officiating. Burial is in East Mount Cemetery. Born in Greenville on Jan. 15, 1955, he was the son of Charlie John and Frankie Mae Anderson. He was a laborer and a member of True Vine Baptist Church. He is survived by his mother, Frankie Mae Anderson of Greenville; two daughters, Meteshia Anderson of Greenville and Mekesha Anderson of Sulphur Springs; three brothers, Manuel Lee Anderson and Curtis James Anderson, both of Greenville, and Willie Dixon of Dallas; seven sisters, Gloria Anderson, Alberta Runnels, Teresa Barrett and Linda Miles, all of Greenville, Alice Anderson of McKinney, Linda Baylor of Keithville, La.; and Sandra Johnson of Oakland, Calif.; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, one son and one sister. Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. today at Cozine and Tarver Funeral Home in Greenville, which is in charge of arrangements.
