WOLFE CITY — Funeral services for Treva Joyce Wallace, 72, will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, at Owens Funeral Chapel, with Steven Medford and Paul Wilkerson officiating.
Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Family visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wallace died Jan. 4, 2007, at her home, following a lengthy illness.
She was born July 13, 1934, to Louie Monroe and Elizabeth Phillips Monroe. She married Glen Wallace on Sept. 6, 1952, in Wolfe City. She was a homemaker and a member of West Main Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Glen Wallace; grandson and wife, Matthew and Christi Sifuentes of Wolfe City; a sister, Nina Fay Wisdom of Wolfe City; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene and Jean Monroe of Wolfe City, Dwayne and Lenore Monroe of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; great-granddaughter, Mattie Sifuentes of Wolfe City.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda Sifuentes and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Rick Wisdom, Mark Wisdom, Larry Monroe, Gary Monroe, Barry Monroe and Marty Monroe. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Monroe, Richard Wisdom, Jermaia Wisdom, Sam Wisdom, John Wisdom and Justin Monroe.
