Troy H. Brooks
Troy H. Brooks, 65, died on Thursday at 4:30 PM at a Greenville hospital. Mr. Brooks formerly lived on RR 2, Greenville, in the Kingston community.
Funeral services are pending with Sorrells and Sons Funeral Home in Greenville.
Born in Hunt County on December 7, 1902, Mr. Brooks was the son of Will Brooks and Mary Freeman Brooks. On December 28, 1928, Mr. Brooks was married to the former Lottie George, who survives him.
Survivors include his widow, Lottie, of Kingston; two daughters, Judy Hurley of Yantis and Frances Singleton of Plano; one brother. T. L. Brooks of Greenville; one sister, Margie Brooks of Greenville; two grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Brooks was a farmer by occupation and was a member of the Kingston Church of Christ.
