Valerie Woodruff Raymond
Valerie Raymond, 49, of Burleson passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2006, at a Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at 3:00 PM at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Calk officiating. Burial followed at Memoryland Memorial Park.
She was born on November 6, 1957, daughter of Bill Woodruff and Allene Woodruff in Greenville. On January 7, 1998, she married Jeffrey Raymond in Crane. She was a nurse and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey of Burleson; daughters, Doraine Ladnier and husband, Chad Ladnier, and Cortney Klein, all of Dauphine Island, Alabama; son, David Curtis of Garland; granddaughter, Madison Ladnier of Dauphine Island, Alabama; sisters, Virginia Morton of Celeste, Beth Rosales of Grand Prairie, Peggy Bryant and husband, L.B. Bryant of Paris; brothers, Michael Woodruff of Palacious and Billy Woodruff of Mobile, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews, including Kim Morton Rhoden of Celeste, Lisa Morton Wolfe of Kirbyville, and Kyle Morton of Mount Pleasant.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kristopher Klein; sister, Mary Lawrence; and a brother, Leonard Woodruff.
