CADDO MILLS — Vernon Lloyd Reeves, 84, of Caddo Mills died Jan. 16, 2007, in Greenville. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Rentfrow Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Richard Ham and Jerry McGinn officiating. Burial is in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Caddo Mills. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The son of Ira and Eula Willeford Reeves, he was born Nov. 7, 1922, in Oklahoma. On Sept. 5, 1966, he married Joyce McGinn in Durant, Okla.
Mr. Reeves served in the U.S. Army. He was a plumber and did contract plumbing in Dallas. He was a member of Full Gospel Church in Caddo Mills.

urvivors are his wife of Caddo Mills; two sons, Vernon Reeves Jr. of Denton and Steven Reeves of Greenville; a daughter, Paige Lee of Caddo Mills; brothers Hause and Sonny Reeves of Colbert, Okla., Maurice Reeves of Randolph and Jimmy Reeves of Dallas; sisters Virgie Reynolds of Dallas, Nancy Nix of Denison and Ina Simmons of Albuquerque, N.M.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents and a brother, Howard Reeves, preceded him in death.
