Viola McDonald, 85, of Greenville died Jan. 30, 2007, at a Rowlett hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Rodney Hood officiating. Burial will be in Grundy Memorial Park.
Daughter of Sebe and Myrtle Wilson, she was born Dec. 21, 1921, in Jefferson. In 1938 she was married to Rev. David McDonald; he preceded her in death. Mrs. McDonald was a homemaker. She was a member of Mount Elem Baptist Church.
Survivors are two sons, Rev. William McDonald (Willie M.) of Garland and Robert McDonald (Dove) of Greenville; two daughters, Myrtle Jones (Charles) of Wylie and Ella Brooks of Greenville; a brother, B.J. Wilson of Jefferson; sister Viola Wright of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Her parents, husband, two sons, one brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home.
