Wondo W. Wall Funeral Today:
Funeral services for Wondo W. Wall, 41, prominent Greenville business man and owner of Wall Cafe here, who died Friday afternoon at 12:55 o'clock, will be held at 5 o'clock this afternoon at the James-Coker-Peters funeral chapel, with Dr. Earl Patton, pastor of Wesley Methodist church officiating, assisted by Rev. James L. Sandlin, pastor of the Central Christian church.
Burial will be in Forest Park cemetery.
Greenville Lodge No. 335 AF&AM will have charge of the services at the grave. Pallbearers will be: W.G. McMillan, Raymond Orr, Bill Parker, Charlie Duncan, Ben Montgomery, and O.D. Williams.
Wondo W. Wall was born on July 19, 1908 in Paris, the son of Virgil Wall and Alma Whitten Wall. His family came to Greenville in 1920 and he was graduated from Greenville High School and attended Burleson College in this city.
The son of a veteran cafe operator, Mr. Wall was reared in the cafe business and was associated with his father, the late Virgil Wall in the operation of cafes in this city for a number of years. Since his father's death, he has carried on the business in a capable manner, giving Greenville one of the most modern cafes in this section of the state.He was a member of Wesley Methodist church and Greenville Lodge No. 335 AF&AM.He was married to Lois Goodwin in Dallas in March 1944 and to this union one daughter was born.
Surviving are his widow, one daughter, Becky Wall and mother, Mrs. Virgil Wall, all of Greenville. His father preceded him in death in 1936.
