Wanda Joyce Lowery, 68, of Greenville died Sept. 28, 2006, at her home. She was born July 30, 1938, in Greenville, daughter of Aubie and Opal Tucker in Greenville. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. Mrs. Lowery was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Cecil E. Lowery; two sons, Ricky Lowery and Johnny Lowery of Greenville; daughters Susan and husband Ferris Tate of Greenville, Vickie and husband Steve Sessum of Oklahoma, Brenda Trahan of Greenville and Donna Jones of Greenville; brothers Murrell Tucker of Quinlan, Clyde Tucker of Cumby and Charlie Tucker of Wolfe City; two sisters, Jearldean Melton of Greenville and Fay Hawkins of Wolfe City; grandchildren Kristi, Melanie, Brian, Tonya, Jennifer, Lori, Jimmy, Sebastian and Rickey Jr.; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Clarence Tucker. A graveside service is scheduled at 10 a.m. today at Dry Creek Cemetery. Lynch Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
