Carolyn Regene Weedfall
Carolyn Regene Weedfall, 71, of Lone Oak died May 25, 2008, at her residence. She was born Nov. 25, 1936, in Tulsa, Okla., daughter of Ray and Lena “Billie” Barnes Baker. She was married to Richard W. Weedfall on May 20, 1972. Mrs. Weedfall was a homemaker who loved living in the country and received lots of happiness taking care of her pets and animals. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Greenville where she currently served as an elder. Carolyn was very active in her church activities and took great joy in serving on various committees whenever there was a need. Survivors are her husband of Lone Oak; two sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis and Dianne Neel of Commerce and Ken and Robin Neal of Waco; daughter and son-in-law Susan and Phillip Gentry of Lone Oak; stepdaughters Katherine and husband Todd White, Joyce Thompson and Ruthann Weedfall; grandchildren Jody, Allen and Tracy Neel of Commerce, Johnathan, Emily, Joshua, Benjamin and Brian Neel of Waco and Craig and Carissa Gentry of Lone Oak.Her parents preceded her in death. A memorial service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Thursday in First Presbyterian Church of Greenville. Peters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
