William N. Welch, a resident of Celeste, Hunt County, Texas, was born October 13, 1864 in Kentucky. He died July 25, 1929. A sixty-four year old retired farmer, Mr. Welch's father, Robert Welch, was from Kentucky. His mother Mary Smith was also born in Kentucky. The informant, Mr. (?) Welch was from Gainesville, Texas. Dr. J. E. Cannon had been treating Mr. Welch since 1925. I couldn't make out the illness, but one word looked like "paralysis." Burial was made in Leonard, Texas, on July 27, 1927, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge.
