W. Glynn Williams
W. Glynn Williams of 3512 Washington St. died Tuesday morning in a local hospital. Funeral services are at 3:30 p.m. today at Coker-Matthews funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ernest Hinze officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. He was born July 5, 1916 in Hunt Co. to W.H. Williams and Mary Morrison Williams. He was married to Aretha Nalls on January 13 1940 in Greenville. A retired equipment operator, Mr.Williams was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife of Greenville; his mother of Greenville; daughter Mrs. Eve Hess of Phoenix, Arizona; brothers Berl Williams of Arlington and James Williams of Blue Ridge; sisters Mrs. Billie Manley of Greenville, Mrs. Merle Rankin of El Paso, Mrs. Joy Winters of Hurst and Mrs Mary Lynn Shelton of Longview, and several nieces and nephews.
