DENISON — Wilda Faye Smith, 80, of Denison died April 25, 2007, at Texoma Specialty Care. A graveside service is scheduled at 11 a.m. today at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home of Denison. Rev. Carl Bilderback will officiate.
Born June 11, 1926, in Denison, she was the daughter of Charles and Medie Smith Langford. She was married to Billy Eugene Smith on May 16, 1959, in Durant, Okla.
Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors are a son, Arthur Baker of Daingerfield; two daughters, Sherry Honeysuckle and Patricia Nickle, both of Denison; a brother, Bob Langford of Greenville; sisters Laverne Lamb of Greenville and Jean Nickol of Lake Tawakoni; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 28, 2005, and a baby daughter, Sandy.
