SULPHUR SPRINGS — Funeral services for Willadene Caperton, 82, of Cumby are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Jones-Walker Funeral Home in Commerce with Rev. Johnnie Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation is from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Jones-Walker Funeral Home. Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home of Sulphur Springs is in charge of arrangements.
Willadene Caperton died in the evening on Dec. 17, 2006, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Commerce, on July 26, 1924, the daughter of James and Alpha Yarborough Wallace. She married Shelby Caperton; he preceded her in death in 1997.
Mrs. Caperton was a retired receptionist from the City of Dallas and was a member of First Baptist Church in Commerce. S
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
