William Garvin Davis, 49, of Greenville died Dec. 2, 2006, in Clarksville. Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Peters Funeral Home chapel with interment following at Josephine Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Davis was born Dec. 14, 1956, in Dallas to Freddie Garvin and Margaret Johnson Davis. He was a maintenance supervisor for the Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors are his two sons, Christopher Andrew Davis and wife Brittney of Merit and Julian Michael Davis of Floyd; his father, Freddie Davis of Commerce; his mother, Margaret Steen and husband Allen of Greenville; one brother, Freddie Davis Jr. of Royse City; four sisters, Janice Marie Hicks and Joy F. Saulters of Quinlan, Susan Taylor and husband Billy of Seven Points, and Mary Davis of Nevada; one half-brother, Mathew Dewayne Davis of Royse City; a grandmother, Thelma Steen of Rowlett; and one grandson, Robert William Davis.
His brother, Robert Wayne Davis, preceded him in death.
