William T. Brown, 88, of Rockwall, formerly of Greenville, died Sept. 5, 2006, at Senior Care of Lake Pointe. Graveside services are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Memoryland Memorial Park under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home of Greenville. Rev. Martha Murchison will officiate. The son of William Oliver and Judy Carol Moore Brown, he was born Feb. 7, 1918, in Dallas. On April 3, 1939, he married Dorothy “Dot” Isabelle Johnson in Nocona. Mr. Brown worked for more than 30 years for Walker McDonald as vice president of marketing and sales. He was a member of Rotary Club-Paul Harris Fellow and Grace Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Jon W. and Marcy Ann Brown of Rockwall; a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Thomas Lynn and Dr. Jane Brown of Fairfield Glade, Tenn.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife on Feb. 14, 2000,; his parents; one sister and one brother. Memorials may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church. Visitation is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
