William Thomas Cullum, II
William Thomas Cullum II, 57, died on Oct. 27, 1999 in Monona County, IA.
Tommy was born on December 28, 1942 in Farmersville, Collin County, TX to Alva Bert and Mary Hall Cullum.
He was an over-the road truck driver for most of his life and died doing what he loved. Tommy had been hospitalized in S. Dakota for a heart problem but was cleared to drive his rig home to Jefferson, TX. While enroute, he suffered a massive heart attack on I-40 in Iowa. He managed to steer his truck off the highway into a corn field where he was found dead by another trucker who saw him leave the roadway.
He is survived by sons: William Thomas Cullum, III of Greenville TX, Jean-Claude Cullum of Arlington TX, and Alva Dean Cullum of Oklahoma City OK; a daughter: Mary Elizabeth Cullum of Greenville TX; his brother: Gene W. Cullum and wife Shirley of Royse City TX; his mother: Mary Hall Cullum of Italy, TX; nephews: Thomas and Donald Cullum and nieces: Wahalla Spraberry and husband James, and Valerie Pitt and husband David.
He was preceeded in death by his father, A. B. Cullum.
Cremains were buried at Altoga Cemetery, Altoga TX.
