William Wright Jr., 63, of Greenville died April 1, 2007, at the Greenville hospital. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Keith Thomas officiating. Burial will be in East Mount Cemetery.
Born March 29, 1944, in Greenville, he was the son of William Sr. and Vera Lee Lewis Wright. He married Jo Ann Anderson in Greenville in 1965. Mr. Wright was a laborer. He was a member of Carter Temple CME Church and of the Masonic Lodge of Greenville.
Survivors are his wife of Greenville; his mother of Greenville; two daughters, Dwana Mumphrey (Harold) of Greenville and Chanda Miles (Tim) of Cedar Hill; a brother, Billy Ray Wright (Debbie) of Sachse; sisters Lillie Pearl Phelps (Dwayne), Clara Wright, May Ann Wright and Chris Tennison, all of Greenville; and seven grandchildren.
His father, a sister, one daughter, and one brother preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home.
