Willie Faye Lowry Brooks
Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Faye Lowry Brooks, 83, of RR 3, Greenville, were held at 2:00 PM, Monday, at Sorrells-Peters Chapel. Henry McCaghren assisted. Weldon Harless officiated. Burial was made at McWright Cemetery. She died on Saturday at a local hospital.
Mrs. Brooks was born on February 17, 1901 at White Rock to Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Lowry. She was married to E. F. Brooks on October 25, 1925, in Boles Home. She was a housewife and member of the Church of Christ in Kingston.
Survivors include one son, L. L. Brooks, Greenville; four sisters, Kathleen Hanson, Dallas; Leta Welch, California; Ella Mae Lowry, Celeste; Mrs. Cecil (Alyne) Tidwell, Celeste; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Bill Lowry, Jack Hanson, and grandsons.
