Wilma Jean Watson, 75, of Quinlan died Nov. 17, 2006, in Dallas. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. tonight at Rentrow Funeral Home in Caddo Mills. She was born Sept. 28, 1931, in Quinlan to Ephraim Isaac Doty and Dovie Ellen Trapp-Doty. She worked for Athens catering for E-Systems and was a Baptist.
Pallbearers will be John Clarke, Willie Bryant, Lawrence Brister, Calvin Lilly, George Mayfield and Kip Salser.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Wallie Watson of Garland; a grandson, Neil Watson of Garland; a sister, Helen Watson of Quinlan; brothers Dewey and Cecil Doty of Caddo Mills and Nathan Doty of Irving; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and relatives.
She is preceded in death by a son, Tony Watson, and his dad, A.B. Watson, as well as her second husband, Doug Brown, and brother, Herman Doty.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Van Sickle Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in Dry Creek, Quinlan.
