Salem Farmer Passes Away
William "Bill" Kincer, aged 60, prominent resident and agriculturist [sic] of the Salem community died
at a local hospital at 11 o'clock this morning. Funeral services will be held at the McWright cemetery at 2:30 o'clock tommorow afternoon,
conducted by Rev. Dooter.
William Kincer was born January 9, 1866 in Lee County, Virginia. He has resided in the Salem community for the past 23 years and was held in
high esteem by a multitude of friends throughout the countyr.
He is survived by two brothers, Joe and Pete, and three sisters, Miss Junie Kincer, Mrs. M. Lawson of Missouri and Mrs. Poteet, of Lee County, Virginia.
He was a member of the Odd Felows [sic] Lodge in which order he took an acive interest at all times, as he did in all movements for the development
