Texan, Who Was Head of Russian A. E. F., Dies
WASHINGTON, May 20 (AP).--Col. Wiles Preston Richardson, U. S. Army, retired,
former commander with rank of Brigadier General of American expeditionary forces in Northern Russia, died here Monday
at Walter Reed General Hospital.
Colonel Richardson was born in Hunt County, Texas, March 20, 1861. His home was in paris, texas, but burial will be at
West Point, New York.
A Distinguished Service medal was awarded to Colonel Richardson for his
service in Russia. He retired from the army in 1920.
